DIRECTOR OF STUDIES
The Director of Studies – Ms Gail Baker: has over twenty years experience working in education in Australia and abroad. Gail and the AIC team provide a compassionate, supportive and learning focused environment for all our students. Gail’s degrees and qualifications in education and counselling help her to assist students to settle in to life in Melbourne and to assist them with any issues that may arise during their time at the college.
TRAINING STAFF
Culinary Coordinator – Stan Friedman: has spent many years working in restaurants both in Melbourne and abroad and has extensive experience in training in Melbourne. Stan has a passion to ensure that students receive the high level of training they require to enter into the competitive Hospitality field.
Trainers — our Trainers are all highly qualified, have extensive experience in training international students and also have vast experience in the hospitality field. They provide additional mentoring and training if required out of class hours at no extra cost to the student.
SUPPORT SERVICES STAFF
Student Welfare Officer—our Student Welfare Officer is available to all students to ensure their time Australia is a productive and comfortable one and is available on call 24 hours a day - 7 days per week.
Industry Placement Officer - our Industry Placement Officer is highly experienced in assisting students to secure suitable work placements and also to find part-time jobs within the industry. He also runs sessions on sessions to ensure our students are ‘job ready’.
Administration Officer—our Administration Officers have extensive experience in dealing with the day to day enquiries of students. They are here to assist students with all queries regarding payments, enrolments, reports – just to mention a few.
